Welcome to Christmas Town, USA…located just west of Charlotte in the lovely town of McAdenville, N.C. This is a great place to take the kids to see millions of lights displayed throughout the town. They will have a great time, full of excitement and fun. The adults will enjoy it, too. No time of the year makes us feel like Christmas. Bundle up if you’re thinking of walking this 2 mile stretch, as the nights are chilly as the sun sets early. The lights are on timers and light up the sky starting at 5:30pm. The lights shut off at 9:30pm on weekdays and 11:00pm on weekends.
Every year this town attracts more visitors during the holiday season to enjoy this light display, which makes finding parking stressful and challenging. Instead of walking the single route through town, many people decide to do the slow drive. Weekends are always busiest, but typically it takes around 30 minutes to drive through. Ballantyne Limousine has several vehicles in their fleet to accommodate any size group to see this festive display of lights.
